Porto Cesareo: Minicruise in catamaran in the Protected Marine Area of Porto Cesareo

Mini-cruises in catamaran inside of the Protected Marine Area of Porto Cesareo, circumnavigation of the Isola dei Conigli, snorkeling with equipment provided on board, explanation in the historical and floro-faunistic beauties, typical espresso aperitif. The mini-cruise provides a part of about three hours, three stops to the Roman columns, the submerged Madonna and the Island of Malva during which the staff will provide snorkeling equipment and lifejackets of all sizes. During the third stop in the lagoon of the Malva Island, the staff prepares a typical espresso aperitif.
The catamaran mini-cruise starts at the Porto Cesareo slipway: the first tour island is noted for Isola, better known as Isola dei Conigli. Once circumnavigated, we proceed to the north, going up the Gulf of Taranto along the beautiful Ionian coast, rich in natural bays, white sandy beaches and golden dunes.
The Torre della Chianca, in front of which a small island appears, is located on a sandy bottom and at a depth of about 4 meters, you can see the imposing columns lost by a Roman ship. Here our guests will make the first bath stop where it will be possible to practice snorkeling and watch the cipollino marble columns more closely.
Our journey continues in the direction of Torre Lapillo, an opportunity to skirt the most beautiful beaches of Salento, up to the foot of the Tower of Lapillo, where we will take another swim, snorkeling in spring water and admire the backdrop of the statue of the Madonna dei Naviganti dedicated to the victims of the sea, Costa Concordia and migrants.
The last stage will include a stop at a cove at the captain's discretion. During the stop, the staff will prepare an aperilunch or aperidinner ( potato panzerotti, vegetable lace, rustic, battered vegetables, black olive taralli, pasticciotto, and sugared taralli).
