ALberobello: Trulli of Alberobello guided tour

Trulli were the typical houses built in stone alone, without the aid of mortar or cement. Every year thousands of tourists visit the city's historic center and the trulli, many still today with the tools of rural life in the early 1900s. 

The tour starts in Alberobello district "Hague Picola" in the heart of the city of the trulli, through a path in the narrow streets until you get in the neighborhood "Monti". During the stroll you will visit the church of St. Anthony, the only church in the world shaped trulli, open to the public in June of 1927. 

The tour continues with a visit to Sovereign Trullo headquarters and museum of tools typical of the rural life of the century. Declared a national monument in 1923, its name comes from the fact that he guarded the relics of the Blessed Sacrament of St. Cosmas and Damian, the patron saints of the city. During your visit you will be able to visit the many quaint shops of local crafts for shopping and relaxation.
